My creative urge has never been this high after years of struggles with creative fatigues. What has triggered this? Is it the change in my environment? or the resentment of not meeting the standard that I set to myself years back?
Whatever it is, I dunno. But I am striving to make works; be it art, products, or community.
Over time, I have noticed my creative driver is to tinker and play with tangible objects. My inspirations come from conceptual stimuli that I have experienced through a piece of art and reactions towards it. And that is after all how I started to design provocative objects. e.g. Ambient Camera
Right now the biggest inspirations are from likes of Yves Klein, Virgil Abloh, and Marcel Duchamp. Not necessarily from their creations, but from their attitudes towards the social norms. In my view they have what I define as "Subjective Reality" (A reality that is very intrinsic to their fundamental values, not really bothered by outsiders).
